CDs and DVDs

Posted by rhymingpanda at 11:21 PM on August 3, 2008 .

Yesterday, the sister (yes, THE sister) and I went on a DVD rampage. Haha. Cheap stuff for originals. It was fun. We bought seven. 4 Disney Cartoons (The Fox and the Hound, Robinhood, Anastasia and Aladdin), 2 Batman movies (Batman and Batman...returns?), and Ferris Bueller's Day-off. I wanted to buy the Aristocats but dad didn't want. I'll buy it on my own next time. It's fun.

I'm so excited to watch the Disney films. The non-princess ones ar really good. We were also spose to get Cinderella and the Rescuers but we didn't have the budget. I also wanted Mulan but ate already downloaded it. Haha. I wish Disney would make another cartoon. They used to make really nice ones. I mean, it's their thing. Now they make part 2's and 3's. Did you know that Cinderella has a third installment??? WEIRD. Other than the Aristocats, one that I really want is Beauty and the Beast. It's my absolute favorite. Really. I love Belle. Hehe.

Anyway...a while ago we went to GH again. I bought the CD with the tagalized RnB songs. For fun. Lol.

So I go into Astrovision and I start looking for it. I can't see it anywhere so my mom tells me to ask the saleslady. I turn to one and say "Miss, meron po ba kayo nung 'Hip-Rap'" (that IS the title of the album...swear). After repeating the title 3 times because I don't think she understood me, the lady looks at me like I'm stupid. I mean...REALLY. She looks at me in all her mistaken glory and in the most derogatory way she says "Uhh...meron kami ng Hip-HOP".

O_O

The nerve. Seriously.

I told my mom and she was all "Yeah, I know. Pabayaan mo na."

Pfft. No courtesy. Kung 'di lang mura mga DVD nila eh!

lol.

Tomorrow we're having lunch with lols.
Aaaand...I'm going to St.Paul. Yey.

School is boring now.

Everyday's an adventure and yet everyday I get lazier and lazier.

Seriously.

Peace Out loves.

Walkout

Posted by rhymingpanda at 11:40 PM on July 30, 2008 .

We barely had Creative Writing today. Duque up and went. She packed her things and walked out furiously. It was...stunning (in the sense that I was stunned). She was really pissed and shit.

Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit.

I hope it goes better on Friday. Or maybe we won't have class. That'd be good too.

It was interesting. Kinda.

I just hope she doesn't get all cranky and super strict on us the next time we see her. I hate it when they do that. Agh. Please let us all pretend that nothing happened? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. That was so weird.

--------------------

Just watched Project Runway Philippines. It's alright.

Let's see. I think Teresa is really pretty. Hehe. I found the 2 "famous" contestants annoying. It was disturbing how openly and outwardly gay Filipinos are (compared to Americans). I think the difference is that the Filipinos work faster. It seemed that they made more finished items than the Americans. It was always the biggest problem there. So that's the advantage I guess. One thing I really didn't like was the lighting and parts of the editing. Some of the editing was weird but tolerable. The lighting however...ugh. It was too contrasted and saturated. My eyes became a bit sore even. Bad lighting. Rawr. Also, it's not as sleek looking (overall) as the Am version.

One more thing...I was annoyed with the sponsor thing on the upper left. Rawr.

It was still fun to watch though.

I think the Filipino Male population might be reading my blog. Last week, on a single LRT ride, 3 guys gave up their seats. THREE. That's more than I saw in a month. Lol.

Peace Out.

KASAYSAYAN OF HELL.

Posted by rhymingpanda at 12:02 AM on July 25, 2008 .

That was not fun...AT ALL.

Test from hell #2: Kasaysayan 1.

The first test from hell....I did REALLY well. This one might not be quite as successful.

Topic: Chapter 1-4 of an 8-chapter book.
Discussed: The intro of the book.
Language: Filipino
Points for test: 100
Number of items: ...100? Something like that.
Time limit: THIRTY MINUTES.
Actual content of the test: ...mostly chapter 2 and 3. And...translating words. WTF? O_O

Predicted Result: I'd be lucky just to get a 50.

There is an injustice in the world.

--------------------

I made my sister felt-sushi for her birthday. They're so cute. Lol. Tomorrow I start with Project: Plush-X-Files. Yey.

Happy Birthday sister! Lol.

Speacking of....We celebrated it today cause the sister has a self-date with...herself tomorrow. Haha. Had dinner with ALL of the Lopezes and Lola today. We had all 5 Lopez people! AMAAAAZING! Haha. It was fun. As usual. Crazy shit. Funny stories. Good times with the fam'ly. :D And Carmen/Tony (the camera...I haven;t decided yet) was working haaard. Danica and I used her/him so much. Lol.

Fun fun fun.

In contrast to that test of course.

Peace Out.

My Lame Life. Lol.

Posted by rhymingpanda at 11:48 PM on July 23, 2008 .

I should really go to bed but I feel like blogging. Hehe.

Today was rather interesting.

In Physics we finally got our papers from that dreaded test. I was scared out of my socks. Seriously. I didn't even look at my paper for about a minute. Out of 105, 90+ would be your "uno". I flipped open my folded answer sheet. Lo and Behold, on the upPer right hand corner of my paper....a 91 encircled in red ink. I silently screamed to myself "NAKA-UNO AKOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Happy days. Lol.

After school, my sister, 5 of her friends and I went to SM North. I watched Dark Knight again! It's still as awesome as ever! My favorite sequence is still the whole Hospital thing. Harvey going crazy. The Joker cross-dressing. And that final shot...it always floors me. Joker walking away from that exploding building. I'm amazed!!! Heath, you are legend!

*I LOVE YOU BABY AND IF IT'S QUITE ALRIGHT I NEED YOU BABY....*

Haha.

During the movie I had some popcorn. And...well...a kernell (sp?) shell got stuck by my back molars. It was annoying. Seriously. My tongue tends to wander so I kept of feeling it. The movie ended at about 7. I didn't get the thing out until about 10 pm. I did everything. I picked at it with a toothpick. I tried to floss it out (which was hard considering it was behind the last molar). I brushed it out forcefully. Nothing worked. I was bleeding. Lol. In the end it just came out as I was flicking it with my tongue while waiting for my mom to finish showering. Annoying much?

Tomorrow's our Kasaysayan test. I JUST finished reading Chapter 4. I have no idea how the test will be. Tomorrow will be "actual studying" time for me. I'm contemplating cutting LArch but I doubt that I will. I'm more nervous about this test then I was about the Physics one. At least for the other one we actually discussed the stuff. This was pure self study....IN FILIPINO. Imagine the migrane I endured for having to go through 134 pages of Philippine History. Not even just like, the historical shit. There was the creation of the Philippines and the Filipinos involved in the text. How is knowing whatr type of Homo we are related to history? Isn't that more of a Science thing??? Isn't it applicable...TO THE WORLD? Anyway. Info overload is kinda going through my mind. Agh. I hate it. I really do. History was never my subject. Wish me luck...

And I just have to say how stupid I found the fact that both Marcelo H. Del Pilar and Graciano Lopez-Jaena died of tuberculosis. Really. WTF???

Peace Out.

Oh. And I also have to mention how weird Danica is. She texted me that she just realized that the sign that read "Reserved for the CSSP Dean" was for Tito Zos. Dude. First day palang nahalata ko na un. Ang labo mo talaga. Weird cousin! WWWEEEIIIRRRDDD!!!
